I thought you would enjoy this little youtube clip of Rowan , Daniel and Samuel being told a bed time story by Rob, if nothing else their laughter is one of the nicest things to hear, and makes the day got better.

Awwww lovely to have for when they get to be teenagers and you forget how cute they once were.

Typical Dad bedtime story too.... kids are more excited than before they went to bed.

If you can smile when things are going wrong....you've probably just thought of someone to blame it on.

love them.
how they've come on when you think of those tiny scrawny little scraps they started as. it was hard to believe then that they would be like this now - must be a great help to parents currently in that situation.

I love doing bedtime stories - so many kids just have tv - tans do, its bed and a film very often although they do both have lots of books and love reading. when they stay here i still do bedtime story - i like it as much as them. ( tho now they are older its quite hard persuading them to go to bed early enough for me to read without yawning my way through a book)chris fell asleep a few weeks back reading bedtime story to nathan - nath had to wake him up he thought it was really funny when he told me about it - " nan, nan, dad was asleep when he told me a story and i had to wake him up"

that would be me now too. when they stay over I do read to them and try to make it as interesting as possible with different voices but oh its hard not to keep from yawning all through it.
And to be honest they both read to the children in such a way I couldnt hope to be anywhere near as good, but as its Nana reading that's a novelty.
