don't know why we haven't got this here Lorna? I've just had the large and the small gift baskets for birthday presents for friends/relatives. They're a real bargain - when the parcel came lorna, i said to Charles "that'll be my soaps", "i know" he said "the postman remarked he could smell them through the packaging".
Also i've had some of the essential oils - i'm going to get some vodka to make my own individual perfumes. the ylang ylang is fabulous - smells alot like the trumpet lilies i love - very heavy exotic fragrance so that's going to be a base for one.
thanks for the patchouli soap too Lorna - one sniff and I'm sixteen again and haunting the "hippy" shops doused in patchuoli oil.. our school bus must have reeked cos i wasn't the only one who wore it. bet it was still nicer that the boys bus tho ( separate schools then)

Yep, I can recommend them too. The ones I have unused still smell lovely after 3 months on display.

of course they're alos very individual fro presents - its easy to pay £20 for a gift set in boots of something that smells nice but may be full of nasties and isn't original - these are. can't think why i didn't look at your gift sets before Lorna for xmas pres. will do in future

Thank you ladies for your kind words.
I've been a little bit lax over the soap making recently and since it takes 4 weeks to cure a new batch we are a bit low on stock

Luckily I have at least one soap talk booked per month and occasionally (like March) I have 2, so I make the batches there
Next week will be Oriental Bouquet, I just hope nobody is allergic to geranium that night!

Helen, if you are looking for a website to promote I would love you to take a look at my hand crafted stuff on www.lornastorey.co.uk x

got my soaps this am Lorna thanks i want the rose one for me ( love the patchouli but in summer i have a rose passion and everything - even perfume - has to be roses) but the other two are for my "spare" bathroom. as it doesn't get used much it sometimes smells a bit...stale - i have to run taps and flush chain every few days to keep pipes fresh but it still smells sort of stuffy so i thought as well as being useful the soaps would act as a sort of air freshner.
