when i was at lapland i had a ride in a sled pulled by huskies - wow can they shift...and that howl makes your hairs stand on end. the handler gave us stern warnings about touching them - they are not pets but working animals he said and they don't like to be petted.
we had a collie x husky when i was a child - he was a def odd one person dog. loved my dad - not keen on anyone else esp kids and laible to nip quickly - our next dog, a welsh collie used to nip peoples backsides ..but as they left the house. charles was always careful how he left after bringing me home one bitten twice shy - its true!

A lovely reference photo Ros, and a beautiful dog but will be tricky with all of that white fur . White fur I find the most difficult (I'm shaving the next cat I have to do) Are you painting? drawing? or what? The very best of luck and I hope you show us the result.

If you can smile when things are going wrong....you've probably just thought of someone to blame it on.
